Hi runners, ππΌ
Katelyn here with newsletter #491!

Today, I'm sharing my own story.
I first ran the Boston Marathon way back in 2003; I wasn't even a runner, but had signed up for the race impulsively when my mom got sick. I grew up in Newton, so the race was part of my childhood and something I always felt nostalgic for.
I somehow made it through the 26.2 miles back then, but it wasn't pretty. After that race, I moved to Costa Rica and basically made running my life.
But I'd never gone back and revisited the Boston Marathon until this year.
I'll be honest. It was tough. It wasn't the race I'd dreamed of, but the one I needed.
We made a video about it, and I'm really proud of it.
We just put it out this morning, here.
I hope you get a chance to check it out. Let us know what you think!
