🦄 A Fireside Chat with Bill Rodgers, Amby Burfoot, Frank Shorter (Exclusive)

1968 Boston Marathon champion Amby Burfoot hosts a fireside chat at the 2025 Boston Marathon expo with Bill Rodgers (4x Boston Marathon champion) and Frank Shorter (1972 Olympic champion in the marathon).

Bill Rodgers won the Boston Marathon for the first time in 1975, so this year marks the 50th anniversary.

The three legends chat about their histories competing against one another, the differences between generations of running and how the landscape has shifted, and what it means to continue running to this day (they are all 77-78 years of age at the time of this recording).

❌ Courtney Dauwalter Drops Out of Cocodona 250 at Mile 108

Courtney Dauwalter’s highly anticipated debut at the Cocodona 250 came to a sudden end Tuesday morning, as the ultrarunning icon exited the race at mile 108.

Dauwalter was widely seen as the sport’s biggest draw heading into this year’s Cocodona—a 256.5-mile multiday trail race through Arizona’s harshest terrain.

⚖️ Gaining Weight From Running? Here are 4 Reasons Why You Could Be Running But Not Losing Weight

Many beginners initially start running as a way to lose weight.

Indeed, among the many physical and mental health benefits of running, a running workout routine can burn calories, reduce body fat, and help you reach your weight loss goals or maintain a healthy weight.

However, some runners find that they are running but not losing weight, or worse, that they are running and gaining weight. Frustrating!

👏 Megan Eckert Shatters Women’s Six-Day World Record With 603 Miles

For six straight days, while the rest of the world went about its business—commuting to work, scrolling through phones, sleeping—Megan Eckert just kept running.

And running.

And running.

When the clock finally stopped at noon on Sunday, May 4, she had run 603.156 miles (970.685 km) in six days.

👟 The Vaporfly 4 is Nike's Lightest-Ever Super Shoe: But Is It the Best?

The Nike Vaporfly 4 is a feather-light, super-flashy, minimalist super shoebut is it Nike's fastest running shoe yet? It has an angled carbon-fibre plate, advanced ZoomX foam, and a much slighter midsole than its bigger and bulkier cousin, the Nike Alphafly 3.
