The Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB) was first run over 20 years ago, in 2003. For most runners in a marathon, the aid stations are a vital part of getting to the finish line feeling good. Providing water, electrolytes, and sometimes even snacks, aid stations, as it says in the name, are there to help runners. β βHowever, at last weekendβs Edmonton Marathon in Alberta, Canada, one runner has gone viral on Reddit, claiming to have ended up in the back of a police cruiser after being drugged by a makeshift aid station.
